Evaluation ,part of the DDD-E model

Image
Hello bloggers👋, Today we are going to discuss about Evaluation, As we know evaluation is a critical part of the DDD-E model because it ensures the success and purpose of multimedia projects . Without proper evaluation, students may face confusion, frustration, or incomplete work. Through ongoing assessment, teachers can provide feedback during every step of the process: Decide, Design, Develop, and Evaluate. Purposeful Learning Evaluation helps teachers ensure that students are meeting the project’s goals and learning objectives. It aligns the project with state or district standards and keeps students focused on meaningful learning rather than unnecessary "bells and whistles." Clear Expectations Rubrics play a key role in evaluation. They clarify what is expected, set performance standards, and give students a guide to follow. Students know how they will be assessed and can manage their time better. This reduces uncertainty and improves the quality of their work. Ongoing ...

Lecture 7-Develop Stage - reflection

Image
Hello everyone✋! I hope you are fine 💗and ready for another potential week! Today,I am going to talk about another Develop Phase of the DDD-E Model . This is the third one and it plays an important role regarding the multimedia projects. The lecture emphasises that the Develop phase is when actual hard artifacts are created to support the framework built in the design phase. 👇 In this stage, media materials are created and gathered to make the process of learning more effective and simpler. Instructors assume the role of guide rather than teacher, manage media production and multiple learning activities, and address any shortcomings they notice. Students develop materials such as graphics, animations, auditory and visual videos through the use of the multimedia tools provided by their instructors (Ivers & Barron, 2010). At this stage, researchers develop interactive elements of the learning environment in which materials such as written texts, illustrations, animations, an...

My reflection on The Design phase of Multimedia projects.

Image
Hello my friends💕, It is time to see again  by discussing about the Design phase .I was curious 👀to read about this and see that it is crucial to emphasize the importance of this phase to students . The DESIGN phase is an important part of any project because it’s when ideas from the DECIDE phase are turned into detailed plans.           It is all about 👇: Outlining the content Creating flowcharts Specifying screen design and layout Writing scripts or storyboards In other words , students can  use flowcharts to show how everything connects and storyboards to plan what will appear on each screen or section. They should focus on outlining the content, deciding the l ayout , and writing scripts or storyboards to guide the process of their production of the project. It’s important for students to spend enough time on the DESIGN phase.  If they rush through it can cause problems during the production phase, leading to wasted time and e...

Week 4 reflection

Hello guys👋 I am here again with you to share my reflection on the topic of  A model for the Design and Development of  Multimedia project .  After reading about the "DECIDE" phase in multimedia projects, I learned that this step is very important because it sets the foundation for the entire project because as it is mentioned in the lecture " Every teacher realizes that good instruction involves careful planning ". For teachers , this process involves choosing a project theme that is interesting and attractive to students.Even setting goals is crucial for a well-developed project because they should be designed :   1-to accommodate multiple learning styles and interests   2- to encourage cooperative learning and social skills   3-to foster active learning by promoting interdisciplinary investigations.    4- to develop critical thinking ,reasoning ,problem solving, and metacognitive processes. And we should be careful with the ability level of le...

My reflection on Project-based learning.

Image
Hello everyone✋ , I hope you are having a nice time 😍! I'm back yet again, and today, I'm reflecting on our latest lecture, which was  about   Project-based learning  which    is a  teaching method  that involves a dynamic classroom approach in which it is believed that students acquire a deeper knowledge through active exploration of real-world challenges and problems.  Students learn about a subject by working for an extended period of time to investigate  and respond to a complex question, challenge, or problem. It is a style of  active learning  and  inquiry-based learning . Project-Based Learning is a form of experiential learning that emphasizes active, hands-on engagement with real-world problems.   Project-based learning contrasts with paper-based, rote memorization, or teacher-led instruction that presents established facts or portrays a smooth path to knowledge by instead posing questions, pro...

My reflection on cooperative and collaborative learning

Hello guys✋  I hope you are doing well.Today I am going to give my insight on the other lecture . This  reflection is on cooperative and collaborative learning.I know that you have had the opportunity to practise doing group work ,and I am sure you  liked it very much.Being based on what  I have experienced and on what I read from this lecture,  the topic is very interesting  because nowadays we are asked to organise the lessons in this way. When I was reading the material and watching some videos ,I found it very enjoyable the information about the Kagan structures(additional resources)They were very successful structures because they helped students in their learning process and have showed marked improvements in the USA schools. These classrooms were different from traditional ones, students did not seat in the rows ,they are not asked to be quiet, to keep their eyes on their work. And teachers for sure were using very revolutionary learning strategie...

my reflection on lecture 3

Hello guys! When reading the material on Multiple Intelligences ,all of you  may have thought about the definition of intelligenc  as the ability  to learn ,understand ,and apply knowledge and skills effectively to adapt to new situations, solve problems and it encompasses a range of cognitive abilities such as reasoning ,solve problems, memory, creativity, capacity to manage emotions . And I found it quite interesting when I attended the lecture and we did a class survey which showed   that all of us had different intelligences from each other. This topic is very important to us as educators because it helps us understand our students' needs and skills  and this is necessary for us:  to design learning environments.  to equip us with behaviour management strategies .   In general Gardner's theory   encourages us to broaden our understanding of human potential and recognize that intelligence is not a single, fixed trait but a diverse ...
