Without proper evaluation, students may face confusion, frustration, or incomplete work. Through ongoing assessment, teachers can provide feedback during every step of the process: Decide, Design, Develop, and Evaluate. Purposeful Learning Evaluation helps teachers ensure that students are meeting the project’s goals and learning objectives. It aligns the project with state or district standards and keeps students focused on meaningful learning rather than unnecessary "bells and whistles." Clear Expectations Rubrics play a key role in evaluation. They clarify what is expected, set performance standards, and give students a guide to follow.
